Darth Vader
Anakin Skywalker's existence spanned approximately 45 standard years, terminating upon the second Death Star. His operational period as Darth Vader lasted roughly 23 years, during which his life was sustained through continuous technological intervention. The cybernetic systems maintaining his biological functions required constant calibration and repair. Without his armoured apparatus, survival would have measured in minutes rather than decades. His legacy, however, persists indefinitely through the Force.
Penguin
Individual penguin lifespans vary by species, with Emperor penguins achieving 15 to 20 years in optimal conditions. However, the taxonomic longevity of Sphenisciformes extends across 62 million years of continuous existence. Penguins survived the asteroid impact that eliminated non-avian dinosaurs, multiple ice ages, and substantial climatic oscillations. As a lineage, they demonstrate durability that individual specimens of any species cannot approach. Current conservation status, however, raises concerns regarding anthropogenic pressures.
