Time's historical impact is, quite literally, history itself. Without Time, the concept of 'historical' cannot exist. Every event, every civilisation, every scientific discovery occurs within Time's framework. The development of timekeeping—from sundials to atomic clocks accurate to one second per 300 million years—represents humanity's desperate attempt to measure and control this dimension. Time has inspired philosophy from Aristotle to Einstein, art from Dali's melting clocks to countless literary works. It is the canvas upon which all human achievement is painted.

Time wages psychological warfare through existential dread. Every conscious being exists in awareness of Time's ultimate victory. It creates anxiety about ageing, regret about past decisions, and fear of mortality. Philosophers have written millions of pages attempting to cope with Time's psychological burden. The concept of memento mori—remember you must die—has shaped entire civilisations' behaviour. Time needs not appear threatening; its mere existence constitutes a perpetual reminder of impermanence.

Time's destructive methodology operates through patient inevitability rather than spectacular force. It has worn the Himalayan mountains down by approximately 2.4 millimetres annually. It transforms steel to rust, stone to sand, and empires to archaeological curiosities. The Great Sphinx has lost its nose; Rome's Colosseum continues its gradual dissolution. Time requires no energy expenditure, no emotional catalyst. Its destruction is absolutely certain—not a matter of if, but when. Every atom in the universe acknowledges its authority.

Time's ultimate victory is mathematically certain given sufficient duration. It has already claimed every human who lived before the 20th century. It will claim every star currently burning. The universe itself faces heat death in approximately 10^100 years—a victory condition Time will inevitably reach. Even if the Hulk possessed infinite strength, he would require infinite duration to exercise it, during which Time continues its patient work. The question is not whether Time wins, but merely when—and Time has an infinite supply of when.

Time's resilience stems from its fundamental nature as a dimension rather than an entity. It cannot be damaged because it is not composed of anything damageable. Attempts to manipulate Time create paradoxes, branch timelines, or simply fail. Even beings who travel through Time remain subject to its passage. The universe has expanded for 13.8 billion years; Time has adapted to every cosmic epoch, from the quark-gluon plasma of the early universe to the current era of stellar formation. It requires no adaptation because it defines the conditions to which others must adapt.
